Tame Impala - Currents

Let me state two facts. Fact 1: I love Tame Impala. Fact 2: Their new album "Currents", released on the 17th of July, is simply amazing.

For those of you who don't know of them, Tame Impala is an Australian psychedelic rock band fronted by Kevin Parker, who essentially is the brainchild of the band who writes, records and produces all their records. Their previous albums "Innerspeaker" and "Lonerism" were exceptional but had a much happier and more guitar-driven sound. Currents experiments more with synths and seems to be a record of heartbreak, break-ups and loneliness, however that won't stop you from this album playing over and over again.

The true talent of this band lies in their ability to diversify and create something different and achieve the same exceptional results. Do yourself a favour and download this album. Actually, do yourself three favours and download all three of their albums.

I'm gonna go ahead and give Currents a solid 9.2/10. Well done Kevin Parker. Well Done.

Flume

If you don't like Flume, we can't be friends. Young Flume has released two tracks recently, Some Minds featuring Andrew Wyatt from Miike Snow and his remix of Collarbones track called Turning. Yes, they are both amazing, both so different and both so Flumey.

Quality is all we can expect from the Aussie, and we're waiting patiently for him to drop his second album which is undoubtedly gonna be insane. Keep your eyes and ears open, this guy is doing massive things.

Love this video.

And the drums and the bassline on Turning, so crazy.

Fluuuuuuume!

Chemical Brothers - Go

Oh Chemical Brothers how I have missed your lovely funky beats. Go, featuring Q-Tip is the first single released from their upcoming album entitled Born in the Echoes, which is set for a release on the 24th of July 2015. Can't wait for this.

Go!

GANZ

It's about that time. Time for some new music. I guess it's always that time right? Introducing Ganz, one of many up and coming talented producers from the Netherlands . I've been sleeping on this guy unfortunately, but it's never too late to discover new tunes.

Trap, hip-hop, electronic, bass, dubstep or whatever you want to call his music, it's straight up crazy. Oh my days! This guy is super talented and his tunes are full of energy. Here are some of my favourites. Turn up yo speakers!
